How much should I microdose? It’s up to you!
A traditional microdose can start anywhere from 0.05 grams and reach all the way down to 0.001 grams, however, the perfect dose varies from person to person. One dose may be a lot to one person, not enough for another, and just right for a third. If you’re unsure, start low and work your way up for your first time. You can always add more later!
How to microdose dry herbs
1. Grind your herbs
Take a small chunk of your herbs and grind it down to a medium consistency. Grind types vary, depending on your vaporizer, but this is a good place to start.
2. Load the oven
For vapes with smaller ovens, load just enough to evenly cover the bottom of the oven chamber. This is a good place to start regardless of experience. It’s enough to play around with while you dial in your perfect dose.
For larger ovens, pack the oven full to the brim and give it a soft tamp. This will ensure a full, even cook that you can take your time with and come back to later when you're ready for more.
3. Heat it up
Whether you have a torch or battery-powered vaporizer, you’ll want to start slow. 380°F / 193°C is a good place to start with precise temperature control. Adjust the temperature to your style from there.
4. Take a short sip through the mouthpiece
When it’s ready to hit, take a short, soft sip of about two seconds and exhale. If you don’t see any visible vapor, give it another draw or two.
5. Wait a few minutes
Give it a few minutes for the effects to kick in and gauge where you’re at. The effects should be anywhere from subtle to barely noticeable. If you’re not satisfied, go in for more!
