The induction heater is hands down much better than using a torch. The entire process of heating is easier, faster, and more precise with using less herb to give you the same effects compared to a torch. I love it, but the magnet came off the first time I attempted to place my Dynavap on top of it, but nothing a little super glue cannot fix. If you're contemplating on getting am induction heater, just do it. I also loved that I could do 4 payments so that I did not have to shell out the full payment, which saves me some money for snacks. I was going to give 4 stars due to the magnet, but gave 5 stars for the easy fix I did.

I was using a torch until I decided to try the induction heater after watching so many reviews about the product. I’m really glad I made the decision to get it. Has a better battery than the Orion (at least on paper) and It heats my medicine way better and flavorful than with the torch. I even use less herbs now and extract more from it. I love it!

I much prefer to use an induction heater over a torch. It's very convenient. i'm not getting nearly as many clicks per charge but it works.

TL;DR Given what I have learned, I would not have wasted the money on the IH, and I will be avoiding Planet of the Vapes given their policy on warranty replacements. I ordered an Apollo 2 rover from Planet of the Vapes in early July, about two months after I got my Dynavap. I use herbs for medical reasons, and I wanted something a little easier for me to use and more sustainable than a butane torch. It worked well. While the experience with the torch is better in my opinion, the IH is easier for me to use, and I felt like I was being more environmentally conscious not having to ship cans of isobutane to myself. After about 5 months of easy use, the device stopped charging. I believe it is due to a bad adapter, which is not an expensive fix. I reached out to Dynavap and Dynatech, and they asked I reach out to Planet of the Vapes and reach out to them if there was not a resolution. Planet of the Vapes had me submit a video of the issue, from which they initially determined the Rover was fully charged. After I convinced them that the device was not charging, they agreed to a warranty exchange where I would return both the Rover and the device. They will not ship the replacement device until they have evaluated my broken device despite the video evidence I submitted, which is a process that takes 5-7 days typically. Thankfully, the Dynavap's independence from electric power means I can still use it while I wait for a replacement Rover. Planet of the Vapes suggested I order a new Rover and return it when my replacement comes, but that would involve me going through more inconvenience, putting out the money for replacement, possibly losing money for return shipping, and risking not getting my money back at all. This is a medical device I have come to rely upon, not a fun toy used on the weekends. This experience nullifies most of the reasons I bought the IH. Shipping devices and replacing an entire IH when it appears only the power supply is bad is not environmentally sustainable. This process is frustrating and requires more effort from me, which is in conflict with the convenience reasons I purchased the IH. Given what I have learned, I would not hcw wasted the money on the IH, and I will avoid Planet of the Vapes given their policy on warranty replacements.

This induction heater is pricey, but it definitely is worth it for me! I purchased a Dynavap VonG and very quickly discovered that I HATE torches and butane... I don't want to mess with fire, and I wasn't thrilled about the environmental impact that tossing out multiple used butane cans would bring. I hated them so much I almost considered selling my VonG! Instead, I took a risk and purchased this IH. Personally, I couldn't be happier with it! I've been using it daily for quite a few weeks now and it's held up and been wonderful to me! :) I also didn't even realize when I purchased it that the name "Rover" is because this is portable! It holds a charge and doesn't need to be plugged into a wall to function. I've taken it outside with me and used it then. I absolutely love this product! P.S. Shop around, I got an extra free VonG (yes, a FREE 2021 VonG!) with the purchase of this IH on a certain website. ;)
