With so many choices and specifications, battery shopping can be overwhelming. The simplest method is to look for something with a higher mAh number if you want a longer lasting cell, and a higher amp rating if you want a stronger cell. If you mostly vape at higher temps, focus on the amps, or power. If you vape at lower temps and want longer battery life, get a battery with a higher mAh rating. Finally, if you use a box mod with more than one battery, it’s best to buy batteries in sets that you keep together and charge together, treating them as one.
Samsung 30Q
The Samsung 30Q 18650 battery is an excellent high capacity cell for those looking for long battery life. It is rated at 3,000 mAh with a 15 amp continuous discharge rate. The Samsung 30Q is great for box mods, and provides long run times at low to medium temperatures. If you prefer higher temperatures and are a Samsung loyalist, give the Samsung 25R a look.

Hi David, If you haven't done this yet, I'd like you to put your vape with the new battery on the charger and leave it there for 4.5 hours even if your vape indicates that it is fully charged before that time is up. You only need to do this extended charge once. Also, please know that it takes about 3 to 4 full charge cycles for the battery to stabilize and perform up to spec. Also, if you’ve been using a phone brick to charge your vape, try using your computer's USB port instead. After doing the above mentioned extended charge along with 3 to 4 additional normal charges, please get back to me here: https://www.planetofthevapes.com/pages/contact-us ... with the total on-time minutes (heat up time + vaping time, not the number of sessions) that you get after a full charge before the vape shuts down due to a depleted battery along with the temp that you are vaping at.
